Shack:

The damage that NT will have inflicted on the Canadian pension fund community will be untold when the tally is finally completed. It really worries me. The whole darned gang of them were "closet indexed" to this thing and they have been shelled.

Last summer, I tried to nudge one of Canada's largest pensions out of this stock, but they laughed me out of the board room. Although it is personally satisfying to be proven accurate, it is frightening as to just how much damage has been wrought.

best, Earlie

>The Toronto exchange will be decimated tomorrow

As I recall, last time Nortel collapsed the Toronto exchange they "removed" it from the calculations for a day. Otherwise their market would have been down like a banana republic gone bad.

That's the problem with one stock equaling 30% of the entire toronto average.
