Read this repost Message 15360657 More specifically this quote: <<Nortel Networks also said spending on wireless networks remains strong.>> At this point IMO the evidence shows that NT is getting beat in long-haul optical mainly by CIEN. Customers are throwing out their expensive SONET conversion stuff and replacing it with DWDM switches which are cheaper and allow them to make money. I don't think you can make the case that wireless is a main component of this warning.
