You know what I think of CIEN.

As for Dell, I think I got it at a favorable price and am not going to get scared out of it because of a bad quarter when their whole industry is getting killed. I didn't spend too much time analyzing Apple's earnings report either, just made sure the cash was still there. I picked my two horses. I consider both long term investments until the price goes somewhere stupid.

You don't want to get overly complacent, but a good value investment should be low maintenance as long as you didn't get your facts wrong. The time to do the work is before you buy it.
