i am not so sure about the entire tech stock strategy tonight. i think of the nifty fifty and how many years passed before they regained their losses, if they ever did. I am beginning to wonder what is so magical about what EMC produces, intelligently run company that it is, if no one will buy the product like before...
how can we be so sure that the need to store data is so important that it cannot be deferred in an economic downturn..
I am going entirely into cash, I think...

I hate to sound like Forrest Gump, but one thing about the markets is they never cease to surprise us...

Look at Amzn, MER"s Blodget who said it could go to 400 (200 after a split) now says it has a floor of 8!!
Look at INKT was 200, now 13. INSP was 135, now 3. YHOO 250, now 25.

I see people saying you can't sell, it's too late...

I see the most efficiently run company I ever knew, Dell, sinking.

I see people talking about not a V or a U, but an L shaped recovery.

I frankly don"t know what to believe in anymore.

I wish I could be as rational as you, but EMC warning is the last straw.

I will be overjoyed if I am wrong.

all the best

Anybody here following AER? Now that I see Mr. Buffett has increased his position, I'm interested. I see both Marty Whitman and Babson(David L)& Co. have positions in this stock.

Paul S.
(seeking info. - I have no position in the stock)

If this is the Buffett --- ology site ... the 2000 Annual Report is out, and the letter, as usual is a hoot.

How many pages is their tax return? Hint: it is more than 4,895.

And, name a brick company.
