There was no GKI in 1998 - tfm wasn't published until mid year.

I note your point, but the investing world didn't begin with the Gorilla Game. We are examining new theories, and under those circumstances, back testing is a reasonable approach.

Probably ORCL and SUNW as well, but the exercise was related to holding period, not stock picking.

SE,

After watching my gorilla portfolio, bought last year, get pummelled for months, I think you have a very good point. Even in LTB&H, timing is relevant.

Looking forward to hearing more.
