I saw the post and it was mildly offensive and actually quite funny. Saturday Night Live, Lenny Bruce, Howard Stern and a host of others would all be booted off this holier than thou forum where freedom of speech is anything but.

The problem I have is that there are loads of violations happening each and every day from folks who continue to post without suspension (e.g., A@P includes his paid for site in his header, a clear violation of TOU; loads of cursing and name calling throughout SI (don't believe it, run a search on any of the more contentious boards)); TLC makes a post that would be considered a violation, calls Jeff to remove it and no suspension; the list goes on and on. Just for kicks, I ran a search on the George Bush thread on all posts with the F*CK word and shock of shocks, I find loads of posts and from folks who I know did not get the boot:

siliconinvestor.com

There does seem to be a double standard of sorts and one gets the feeling that if folks in admin have you on their bad boy list, you could say "darn" and get booted! Are people really that afraid of hearing from people who disagree with them? I guess in cyberspace censorship is alive and well. Was it not supposed to work the other way?!
