This would indicate that the real speed of P4 is probably closer to 1.2GHz.

You know... this whole exchange just really sounds like the AMD guys have a real case of GHz envy... sad really...

Why? Where does it say you must run a processor at a die temp of 95C? If you can keep the die temp below the spec in a system and your reliability data shows no problems then what is your problem? (Other than that irresistible urge to bash Intel)
