Which is real problematic. I fear that our economy is airborne and the financial underpinnings make it dangerous to land. Not an attractive position for the FED to be in...is it? Will be interesting to see if and under what circumstances the FED will be willing to raise rates.

Can't go into a recession while the Fed has room to lower and print money at the same time. {Unless they want one to lower expectations, or attempt to bail out secondary economies} As long as growth out paces the world growth, US bux is still going to gather all inflows. Monetary inflation is still outpacing growth and inflation. The real problems are still in Japan. USA is increasing their economical base, and thus gold has reacted in the inverse.
