Amy J RE......I am very surprised to read your post, where you said it would be very easy to forget about a DUI.

I couldn't imagine a person ever forgetting something as serious as that. <<<

25 yrs ago, DUI's weren't considered that serious of an offense. In fact, the first DUI offense usually a 4 pt. deduction, and a small fine. It was only at the 3rd and fourth violations that the penalty became serious. It wasn't until MADD came about, that the seriousness of a drunken driving ticket was raised to a serious level, and I would say that didn't happen before mid eighties at the earliest. Of course I also went to the UW, by far the best party school in the nation at those times according to Playboy, so my view of drinking may be more lax than yours.

<<<<<<<You likened this serious event to: "tell me every class you took when you were in first grade and the grade you got." <<<<<

I don't know about you, but I did take going to school and becoming educated seriously, especially in the first grade when I was young (you remember better when you are young) and impressionable. Secondly, the first grade covers a period of many months, not just one single instance, which should be easier to remember as repeating something over and over is the best way of remembering something. I take it by your and combjelly's response, that neither of you remember your classes and grades, and that is my point.
