Da, Timely post. I go to Home Depot weekly. Nearly every weekend to buy wood. I have notice the parking lot and the store less full during January. Not as many cash registers open, employee's mull around talking themselves, but last week it seem fuller, and today, it seemed back to normal. I had a hard time pushing my cart around, with 12 foot lengths of lumber, without hitting people. I always look at the lighting area and paint section, that's a good gage IMO since those people are not really hard core, it was packed, lots of people buying fixtures and light bulbs, and paint. <g> Maybe it's the holiday. Maybe people are tired of living in the dark of winter. LOL I'll find out next week. <g> Also, my store has picked up too. . I'm selling more Jazz. The % to New v.s. Used has gone up too, with more New selling. Now that is really odd WHY??? <g>
