hi mag "I just wanted to point this out (my computer literacy rate has increased) as I feel pretty good about it and it may push some to continue their computer learning. It is very much worth the effort to understand your system." very inspirational words, imo. many of us who post here regularly weren't always on such familiar terms with our pc's. one very steady thread contributor told me today, "When I first found the thread it took me quite a while before I was comfortable enough to ask or answer a question." these are fascinating and complex machines that we use every day, you must admit. it only figures that with the things they can do, they would also act up now and then. and so this thread has become a gathering place for users to meet and share knowledge and ideas, and maybe issue a warning or two. and like mag, the more one does, the more confident one becomes. soon these wondrous boxes are beginning to make a little bit more sense, and the frustration eases. first thing you know, you look around and somewhere along the line the fun began and you're really not sure when! :) mark
