PK,

He came out of the Holy Bull. I handicapped the FOY on my Friday evening commute home. I noticed the extremely fast pace of the Holy Bull and that it looked like he held up quite well despite being part of it.

I gave some serious thought to playing him, but as I looked more closely at the race, I saw a few other horses that I thought could keep the pace honest. I also didn't like the fact that he really didn't look like a high stamina type based on his sprint races.

So my thought was that I'd simply look at the odds board on Saturday and give it some more thought in between. I was lukewarm at best.

Saturday came along and I had major problems at the job and was occupied all day working from home. I turned on the TV on a break and just happened to see the last 1/8 mile of the race. Ouch! Don't know if I would have bet him because I wasn't crazy about it, but even the exacta at just under $200 was a candy bar. That would have been my second ticket with the reverse being my first.

I don't know much about that trainer. I guess we'll see.
