Someone on this thread recommended Power Defrag that can be found on the thread below. It automatically shuts down the correct programs and defrags, reboots, etc. I use it on Win98 but it should work on NT or Win2000. Best little free program I've found for Defragging. e-technik.com Donald

I am not sophisticated about this. So I decided to run Norton's Space Wizard instead. But my Norton SystemWorks Pro 2001 seems to have no program called Space Wizard. There is Norton AntiVirus, Utilities, Clean Sweep, Ghost.... Clean Sweep, which I've never run (I've just had this version for a month), "removes Internet clutter," it says. Once you get the thing to work, you can get fancy later.>> I have, on Speed Disk, clicked Properties. There is no "Options" tab -- there are Alarm, Style, and Drive tabs. None of them offer a "simple defrag" option. This is why I so seldom come here. I am fully aware I'm doing something wrong, but I've put these details here, humiliating as they are, to show you that i've tried. And I do appreciate your efforts.
