Tim <I don't have statisitics currently available but the majority of drunk driving accidents are caused by people far over .1%.>

You are basically arguing that since the numbers of people killed by drivers at .09 is less than the people killed by drives at 1.9 - it's ok.

I weigh 150lbs. This weekend, I could drink four beers in less than one hour at a picnic, then drive through YOUR neighborhood on a beautiful Saturday afternoon - YOUR kids playing in YOUR front yard. I would be at .910 - and you are saying that's ok.

The constitution says that all powers not specifically granted to the federal government are reserved to the states or the people. I didn't object to the supreme court's action because it was a federal constitutional issue. I do not like the grounds for their decision however.

Tim,

It only became a national constitutional issue when the FL Supreme Ct did not come up with a ruling that the Sup. Ct liked or don't you remember that initially the Sup. Ct kicked the whole thing back to the FL Sup. Ct.
