I love Duck Soup. I had a copy of it on tape, I am not sure if it survived my son's childhood. It has been too long since the last time I saw a Marx Brothers' movie.....I saw Joe Franklin once or twice, when WOR was carried on my cable, but not enough to truly appreciate him. The Turner Classic Movie station has been doing as well or better than AMC, by the way. They have had Showboat (with Paul Robeson and Irene Dunne), The Women (Norma Shearer and Roz Russell, script by Clare Boothe Luce), and even more recent things, like Mr. Roberts (Henry Fonda, James Cagney, William Powell, and a very young Jack Lemmon).......
