...tough rules...

Yeah! Tough all right. I can hardly type this after reading the previous few roast posts. I'm starving and I hear pots rattling in the kitchen. Hard to stay focused with the gut growling.

Anyway, I was on a cruise ship last winter. You know, the floating, stuff your face till you're cross-eyed, five decks of food ships where you're either eating or filling your plate. The crew were celebrating some religious period where they needed to not eat from sun-up to sun-down. And they spend their day shoving food at us!

I asked one about this, and was told that as part of their belief they must do this to better understand the poor and hungry people of the world. It seemed to make some sense.

Then he asked me what Christians do. I told him we don't do anything like that, we just talk.

Sure glad my religion doesn't require starvation.

Kinda miss the chocolate extravaganza.
