Hi Jay I think you are being totally unreasonable about the future of Cisco. It is important to look at the products one by one and where the competition is if any. Router - got some competition here, Juniper, Avici, Nokia, Cabletron and some others coming. Of course cisco has a better and cheaper product, don't they? Ethernet Switches - lots of competition, but the cisco salesman is your friend. Metro boxes - have you ever heard of Redback or Ciena? Transmission? - well we know cisco has the deep pockets to win a price war! No problem. Time to call my cisco salesman and get the straight scoop. "What he quit? Can I speak to his boss? He quit too? Who's in charge of my account? Some new guy from Lucent you say? No, no I don't want to speak to him." Regards Gary
