Of course, there's no way to know yet whether Compaq will pass the acceptance test, either. I'd be curious to know in what way Sun failed, but nothing I've read gives any clue. I suspect there's another side to the story.

It's disappointing to lose a sale, but sometimes it's like the bumper sticker says.
