I am calling out my trading buddies from the systems thread to offer a complete and total examination of other charting packages.

Understand that what we look at might not be pertinent to a lot of folks here who trade stocks and use Level II but there certainly is overlap and commonality as well. Feel free to join in or just follow along. If this goes anything like the examination of brokers we did a while back it should go rather quickly and some very solid information should be presented. I hope it enlightens all of us.

Dear Scott:

Regarding the CME:

NexTrend is offering 6 months free, starting March 1, 2001, however after
the 6 months, we do not plan to offer real time data for the $10.00 per
month for the E-Mini S&P 500, the E-Mini Nasdaq 100 and the FORTUNE e-50
IndexTM futures and options contracts.

So what do we have to do after 6 months? Pay the full CME $60 fee?????

=======================================
Dear Scott:

Although this is subject to change, you are correct. The current plans are
to offer the 6 month promotion on the E-mini's. When the promotion ends,
any client wishing to receive real-time CME data (including the E-mini's)
would be responsible for the exchange fee. As it currently stands, $60 is
the cost for streaming real-time data from the CME.
