William:

I lived in Chicago for several years some time ago and still visit there once in a while.

I think that I am a little more pessimistic than Jim. I remember last year I started to get "concerned" in February:

Message 12822861

This year I also started to turn pessimistic a little before Jim:

Message 15281696

The DOW is now below the 10,500 (10473) and the NASDAQ below the 2,300 (2,239)

I expect for both to turn positive some time in the future, but I still don't see a "green light" ahead.

As Jessee used to say:

"The best time to buy stocks is on a rising market" "To buy on a rising market is the most comfortable way of buying stocks". "It is not a good thing to buy stocks too cheap or too easily". "It doesn't pay to start wrong on anything"
