please define what an asset is. Please define what the Cost of Capital is. Please tell me what opportunity cost means.
Please tell me if you think there could be better things that CSCO can do for the shareholders' than buy back stock.


First of all....I am not that familiar with Cisco's particular situation that well..financial statements. My comments were meant to be more general for the blue chip tech stocks although I did name Cisco. That was an error..I will admit to that. Meant it more of a comment for lower PE techs. Mentioned Cisco probably because it was the Cisco thread. This is more of a trading stock for me; don't hold any positions in this one at this time.

Still, the comments are for the blue chip tech stocks.

As for definitions of the terms you listed--Accounting 101...read the textbook for yourself.<g>
