You are quite right. In the next couple of decades, the Hispanic population is projected to grow to 16%, the black percentage to remain almost stable, the Asian population share to double to 6%, and the White population share to decline to 64%.

I stand corrected, the fastest growing segment of the population isn't African-American. As Neocon showed in his link, it's Asian, then Hispanic. (BTW, 25% of America's Muslims are of South Asian descent.)

The issue of Muslim religious influence on the culture, and, taking the example I had cited, in any public schools desecularized in the way some would like, will of course play itself out locally, in those areas in which Muslims are a majority.
