Jim <Why are they going to ban sushi? Something in the fish, mollusks, crustaceans or echinoderms? Someone mentioned parasites, someone else mentioned mercury maybe other heavy metals> It's the 'raw' thing. My mother is Asian, her idea of cooking her beef is defrosting it (we get very upset with her). I suppose it's the same theory. For me, I'm not worried. I'm sure all the sake I drink when I eat sushi takes care of it. ;) <Sure, man has polluted the oceans...most people are unaware, live in their immediate little world.> I'm not sure I understand this.
