If one car was in the garage and one in the driveway, then whoever was in the garage would have to get the person in the driveway to move their car to get out. That's too much hassle. Can't widen the driveway on the garage side, there's a hill. If we widened the driveway it would have to be in front of the house and it would look tacky. Anyway, this is the 'burbs. Parking on the street is part of the deal. It's not like out in the country where the street is few hundred feet from the house, it's only maybe 40 ft. from the front door.
