slacker My memory has the same facts as yours. Never heard 04 or 05 from anybody. The latest slide does show 03 commercialization for WCDMA. What still has me a little confused is that Q did annouce I think in december that WCDMA chips for handset would be available in 1st qtr 01 and base station chips in 3rd qtr. What are these chips going to be doing from between this year and 04/ 05? Another question is what is DOCOMO coming out with in may and I beleive there is a carrier in Spain that said they would be deploying the 1st WCDMA system in europe in August. Does IJ not consider these to be true WCDMA? Who did they get the WCDMA royalty report from last quarter and what was it for ? Lots of interesting Questions to be asked at the shareholders meeting this year.
