Can I be short or does one have to be long in this contest?

One other comment is that all the sectors and subsectors are way too complicated for a simple Oregonian / tree hugger.

Since I'm a novice at tech, I'll follow the threads ideas on sub-sectors and data to include.

I like the idea of having several watch lists for the thread to follow over on Yahoo.

In addition to the items I posted earlier, I track book value, cash per share, debt/equity ratio, Peg ratio and historical growth rates for each stock.

Let me know what I can do to assist in the thread tech watch list?
