Hi Scott, hmmm, that's odd. According to this (which is supposed to be the Nielsen numbers), the article should read "active users in Jan 2000: 77 million cyberatlas.internet.com and 91.1 million in October: cyberatlas.internet.com In looking at those sites above, if you also look at the november and december data, it's kind of odd they chose the timeframe of Jan thru Oct for a Feb 2001 article. That same stat showed larger than average increases for Nov and Dec. But I guess including that data they wouldn't allow a spin of the downside as much.
