Even the stuff that was true usually turned out to be blown out of proportion. <<<<<<< Hmmm There are 20,000 anti GW sites on the internet. Most of them are spreading false rumors. Does that mean you now favor GW. If not, why not. <<<<<<<In general, yes. But CEO's with zipper problems seem to stay around for some reason...<<<<<<< So now you think CEO's should have special treatment. Tell that to Ted. In Fact, Ted could very well have been harrassed by the laws Bill passed while he was pandering to the feminists. If Bill shouldn't have to answer to the laws he passed, why should the rest of us? The issue is fairness. If the standard is to pillory all politicians for their sexual weaknesses, fine. Why wasn't Newt raked over the coals for his long-term affair while he was Speaker? << Is it? Newt was forced to resign as speaker of the house. So was the senate majority leader ,Mitchel, for indiscretions revealed by Hustler. Why didn't Bill resign, in fairness, after all of his indiscretions. But without that, I have to feel that is is just some more of that baseless, unfair and purely partisan bashing that has been going on.<<<<<<< Partisan, how is that. Did you watch the hearings on MSNBC. Every democrat to a man dissed Bill for the pardons. When both parties condemn the pardons, it is not partisan anymore. As far as baseless, both Denise Rich and Beth Dozorots DNC party campaign donations chairman pleaded the fifth. Why, if the pardons were based on the merits, and the rumors are baseless? Offhand, I cannot think of a reasonable basis for the pardons, but on the otherhand, a President doesn't need any.<<< By the same token, neither do the voters need a reasonable basis for voting for the other guy. That is why the Dems are dropping Bill like a hot potato. You don't get thrown in jail for being associated with Bill, but you can get thrown out of office.
