Obviously I can't comment on radio in the midwest. In this area a host who behaved like that would be fired immediately. (And that's not speculation- -it's happened once or twice.) OTOH, we have every breed of human on the planet somewhere in this area. My next-door neighbor is Japanese; there are many dozens of Chinese living within a 5-block radius of me; the fellow at a workstation 10 feet from me is Vietnamese; my boss is Rumanian; one of the people on this program is Burmese, and another is Pakistani. So if you want to keep the peace in this area, that sort of thing has to be stopped fast.

flap, how long have you been in Cincinnati? I went to High School at Hughes and did 1 year at U.C. I even lived a few blocks from U.C., on Riddle Rd. It was from 1954 until 1961 when I joined the USAF just ahead of the draft.

Re radio. There been several Left-Wing radio talk show hosts, most if not all of whom are not on the air anymore due to ratings. Do you think possibly that their message wasn't heard or was it being rejected?

Chas

(edit) Cincinnati also gave the world Jerry Springer. Is Neil Armstrong still at U.C.?

Name one instance where Limbaugh has said anything that resembles "hate speech."
