First we get the deflationary scare. Then we get an inflationary loss of confidence in the dollar as the fed pumps for systemic reasons rather than economic reasons. Do you have another end game?

i know all these luminaries are looking for a return of inflation...however, i still disagree with them. i believe that inflation in certain raw materials is actually helping the overall secular deflationary trend to intensify, as demand comes under more and more pressure. i also believe that the credit bubble will collapse - and attempts to inflate it away will likely fail.
