Jacob, IMO, the questions are how far out ahead will the market look, 3-6 months. It looks like they are looking past the bad news to the last quarter. Consequently, they have been holding up AMAT when it should be sinking to the low 30's or $20. With earnings coming down on AMAT along with BTB numbers the PE will probably reach the 60's like it has done in past cycles with poor earnings. I do not know how calculate how to predict how much goodwill with an inflated PE that the market will place on CSCO and AMAT. Your ideas are appreciated.

Just my opinions.

Paul

Jacob, remember the old expression, "do not fight the FED." If we would have gotten out when the FED started its rate increase we would all have been better off today. I have to remind myself that these two rate decreases are equal to four 1/4 rate increases over a year ago. Will two more 1/2 point decreases cause the market to turn around very quickly? AMAT and CSCO orders will get out and send the Tech's moving up quickly, IMO. With six months from January will give us the last of July-Sept. when the full impact of the FED rates hit us. IMO, the market is looking out that far at this time.

Do you think we will hit the bottoms before then?

Just my opinions.
