"My body is a temporal creation existing on and of the earth...(and)My mind extends beyond the biology of my body.""

"the desires of my body may in fact present a moral challenge."

I am trying to understand you here. Apparently, you have:

BODY... temporal-not "you"-but under your authority (responsibility)

BRAIN... Just part of your body

MIND... Not part of your body--beyond it somewhere. Under your authority (YOUR mind.

SOUL... Somewhere...

"YOU"... Somewhere--not temporal--not part of your body.

So "YOU is not temporal and your body is temporal so there is no part of your body that is not temporal and thus no part of "you" that is a part of your body. Yet you still claim to experience moral difficulties because of desires that "you" do not have (I mean the desires that your temporal body has).

Where is the SOUL that "you" have in all of this. Is YOUR soul temporal and a part of your body and/or brain? Is it beyond your body (somewhere?) like your MIND? Or is it just somewhere? Does your SOUL have desires like your body, and does your soul ALSO vex you the way your body does? I find the whole picture confusing, but that does not make you wrong. It does seem like a lot of advanced knowledge, however.
