The NAZ still has not broken the near term downtrend:

ACK: After they filed one division under Chapter 11 last Dec. because of the asbestos liability problems, it seems it may be trying for a bottom. Warren Buffett reportedly bought some of the "junk bonds" of these companies under financial stress because of the asbestos problems.

The DOW after yesterday's rally attempt failed, it seems that will try support at 10,350:

It seems to me that if it can close above the resistance at 10,500 it could test the 10,670

But it looks that we are going to need some help from uncle Al before the scheduled FED meeting. I have heard about many people having large margin calls this week. Of course this is not the kind of market one should be on margin, at least on the long side <g>
