Maybe NT wanted to give AMCC their stock instead of cash. AMCC might have said no....LOL

With the screwing NT gave JDSU on the sales of that optical unit for stock, I would be very wary of any business dealing with "screw your partners" business development folks at NT.

You have figure NT is sitting on some AMCC inventory also.
NT probably backing out of several design wins until they can control their own bleeding. Not like someone is healthy in the sector and is going to take their market share.
