Scumbria,

Ace`s hardware report that Northwood will operate at a reduced core voltage of 1.3 V and will feature a larger 512 KB L2 cache.

What is your take on it? What kind of performance increase will result from the bigger L2 cache? And which speed headroom does a reduced voltage of 1.3 V imply?

And how will be AMD's competitive position in Q4 after the Northwood introduction?

Thanks!

Peter
