Pack up and leave if you're not happy, there's Bingo down at some church near you I'm sure.

Nope, not into gambling. You will never see this kid in a casino or bingo hall, or buying loto tickets.

I have taken my lumps in the market over the past 5 years. I am not bitter or dismayed one bit. My first year in the market was my worst. Why? I made money, on practicaly every stock I bought.

Knew nothing about the markets, yet my investments doubled, trippled, quadruped. Worst year because I figured stocks went up forever, then reality hit, ya stocks do go down.

I have learned a lot in the markets in the past 5 years. Watching CNCB I also learned what Alfac was.

However I have questions about the markets. While I see a need for companies to finance their ventures, and some are always going to be just scams, I see no need for other investing techniques such as shorting, futures, etc, etc, etc..

What purpose to they provide? Who do they help?
