Technology Stocks : Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) -- Ignore unavailable to you. Want to Upgrade?

Glenn: AMZN would have to command premium prices for offering convenience -- the idea that it is "cheaper" to buy an item like a book on-line was, is and always will be bogus -- and if you want to pick a bad product category it would be books. There is only one caveat -- print-on-demand -- and I covered that in a series of posts a long time ago. If AMZN had gone for a build-to-order, or in this case a print-to-order model, it might work -- otherwise it is a bogus scam for the feeble-minded investor from the word go.

If AMZN gets cut off by vendors it will be tough to hide this from the public. Going Chapter 11 won't help there either. In this weak economic environment, I would not want receivables from AMZN on my accounts.
