That was a nice sale and I applaud you for your well reasoned motives for moving out of the stock. Let's not lose the focus here that the entire tech sector is in ruins though please. This is not Broadcom specific and insiders have been doing what they do since the inception of the markets. If you want to call that denial than go ahead, but I just try and focus on 10 year charts of CSCO, INTC, EMC and the rest. When the smoke clears I'll still be standing, markets are cyclical and always have been.

Good luck.

Thanks Lance,

LOL, that stuffy professor image is perfect! I got out of BRCM ages ago. I just couldn't handle the incessant dilution that Nicholas was foisting on the dufus investor. This one was always the weak sister among AMCC, JDSU, Q*, SDLI and the other usual suspects. Nicholas never ever considered aligning the companies interests with those of the damn fools who "invested" in it. In that regard I have tremendously more respect for Dave Rickey that for the Henrys.

Welcome to the sour grapes thread!
Forbes magazine this week is featuring '99 Zinfandels. According to sommeliers in the know, this is the best vintage in 10 years. Put some away for day when we decide to get back into BRCM at 8 and clean up when the next 'greater fool' wave falls off the turnip truck and discovers the market. We know they were all born at night, and we hope it was last night. <w>

Mahogany, yup... did I tell you about the time I rebuilt the Governor's mansion library in Juneau, AK fitted with Honduras Mahogany? No? Well, maybe next time.....

Cheers, and don't accept any sour grapa, wooden nickels or Nicholas shares, Ray :)

was a great gut feeling. But the reason BRCM is down is not because of executive strife. Its down because of the options they gave out to generate sales. This info has recently hit the wires and will haunt them into 20's at which time they will get sued down to teens.
