If you look at the map of Seattle on the MSNBC site, look for Lake Union just north of downtown...my place is directly under the "U" in Union.

If we can be thankful for having a dry winter, this earthquake gives us reason. If we would have had our normal winter, we would have seen much, much more property damage from this quake, hillsides would have come down all around us here. My place is cantilevered over a steep slope. Usually it rains virtually all day every day this time of year....and it's been bone dry for 10 days or more...whew!
