I accidentally do something with my mouse and the pointer turns to a Move pointer. It looks like a compass rose without the North, South, East, or West.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what I do to get it on my screen, nor what to do with it once it's there, or how to get rid of it. Usually, I just wiggle it around the screen, clicking on things I understand, hoping for the best. So far, it cooperates and goes away without causing damage.

What's it for? What's it do? How's it used?

Any help would be appreciated.

An open question about Netscape and e-mail
I have Netscape 4.7 and although I've tried, I can't figure out how to delete unwanted e-mail without having
to open it first. I highlight it and it opens without giving any chance to delete it. Any response would greatly
appreciated.
