I hear you Patrick. I stopped using them a couple months ago but for a long time I found it 'good enough'. I run TradeStation and found that just using QFeed, I'd generally have a better experience. I'm sure if I had all the grief that some of those folks do, I'd cut my losses much quicker than them.

I switched to eSignal for my feed and am happy about that; I can be away for a week, come back and all the data is there waiting for me, no hassles. Its my poor mans ferrari but it works very well.

I find the management issues at the root cause of Quote.com's woes are the most interesting thing about it. I guess eventually they will have a useful shakeout there.

ottographs.com

I hate to use the word prediction in conjunction with a chart, but SPX and NDX sure have been acting predictably.

hi Patrick,

nice to see around again... hope things are going well for you.

good points on qcharts...

I am one of those "longer term" traders and only occasionally do I run into problems
w/ qcharts... frustrating when it happens, but no service is w/o problems...
(someone i know that subscribes to esignal told me that their L2 went out for part of yesterday)

frankly, I started looking for alternatives, but have decided that even qcharts is overkill for me.
all I use qcharts for are minute charts (and if I could ween myself from them i would :-)
and basic chart drawing. everything else I get from mytrack which has been
very reliable (albeit not perfect either)

[edit]
ok, I know Atin will ding me if I don't add this part ;-)...
so I'll add that I also use QPNF from qfeed.
