Hmm, considering that Intel often has things that a a year or more from production at IDF, either they are getting more conservative or the P4 doesn't scale well at 0.13 micron. For Intel's sake, I hope this was running continually at 2GHz and not just run at a lower speed and dialed up to 2GHz for a couple of seconds...

Paul, I'm not certain, but I don't think the P4 2 GHz was 0.13. T'was 0.18. I'll take another look at the webcast tomorrow. (Otellini was on when they showed the PC running on that P4). Intel wouldn't have P4 on 0.13 yet, I don't think, even prototypes.
