Having them as visitors is more fun than raising them. Before Sue got the horses we had a lot of wild mallards in our ditch. They'd get so tame I'd have to shoo them out of the yard to mow.

The swans are huge. I had 6 fly by once at about 100 yards and I could hear their wing beats.
