One would expect that, yet companies like Novell and Corel drifted for a long long time before anyone stepped up to the plate. By the time somebody did it was too late. Considering that Bezos is still the majority owner of AMZN how likely is it that he will get the boot?

Bezos also has an ego problem which is one of the major causes of the current problem with the firm.
