Hi TSO/dlo and E.,

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I am a good sport to a point, but these margin calls have been relentless since Feb. 13th. and they have really taken the fun out of the market for me.

I know it's an old saw and that it's "only money", but you do need money to pay your bills and survive.

I am very discouraged that I can't seem to get even with these calls. I'm currently using my home equity loan to pay some of them off. Just when I see a glimmer of hope like yesterday. ORCL which I own which was 21 3/8 + 2 3/8. It prewarns and is trading down at 17 after hours!!!! Consequently dragging the NAZ futures -30 with it. I realize no one is right all the time, but this has been unbelievable and very depressing to me.

Speaking of Fidelity. I have owned the OTC and Aggressive Growth funds for years and reinvested the dividends and capital gains. Both of these now have losses and once again as I am forced to liquidate they will be at a loss and no longer available for collateral. I never had losses in them until now.

I know what you mean about the managers. It's sort of misery loves company. They get paid millions of dollars a year and yet they didn't do any better than me during this debacle.

With the NAZ down 58% and consumer confidence decreasing daily I would think that AG has made his point and that an unannounced 1/2% cut would not have set inflation out of control. This market needs some positive news and there is nothing out there to end the downward spiral. Sentiment is 100% bearish and turning into a self full filling prophesy.

This too shall pass with time. I just hope I can tough it out. Time and money is quickly running out for me.

Thanx for being good listeners, I appreciate it more than both of you will ever know.

Al
