It actually does not push the question up at all. Obviously, only an uncreated being, such as is argued for by some philosophers, could be responsible for creation. The rest is theology, and need not be addressed in this context.....

I think it's a smart move on their part. Creationism is a real loser and they have to learn to throw their conspicuous losers overboard to have any chance to increase their constituency. IDT does not immediately give off that fishy smell. Our education system isn't producing enough of what it takes to analyze something like this for flaws.

My fence sitting is a debate over what is in the best interests of society. I have no doubt that the best interest of society lies in eschewing superstition and improving critical thinking. I don't know whether IDT is a glass half full or half empty.
