First, the numbers started going south before Bush became president. But second, you attribute these things to the person whose policies were in place at the time (of course, you can let him off the hook in various ways). Thus, it cannot be blamed on Bush........

You are invincibly ignorant. If you knew anything about economics you would not make such remarkably stupid assertions. The tax cuts would be kicking in perfectly now.

>>The President's name is now Bush. That makes it the Bush recession and the Bush bear market. That's how these things work.

Wrong. Both the Clinton recession and Clinton Bear Market started in and are product of the Clinton regime and Bush was smart enough to make that clear early on. That's what drove you Dems crazy - the truth always does.

When was the last time FDR was blamed for the Great Depression?

For similar reasons Clinton never got any credit for the boom that resumed in March, 1991 - almost two full years before he first disgraced office.

"That makes it the Bush recession and the Bush bear market. That's how these things work."

What specifically has GWB done to cause this market, Nadine?
"That's how these things work" may be enough justification for you and your dem cohorts. A good example of dem-o-logic.
