Part of cleaning up is finding stuff I forgot-
Had a pasta recipe that I made last night if you like spinach and its vegetarian.
I do- first have a beer.
Fresh spinach (I cheat in winter and buy spinach for salads cuz you dont have to clean it as much and quick) is best but I learned to "fry" it
in a pan using med-high heat with a couple drops of olive oil-I mean 2 drops,
if non-stick pan is better- no oil,
and let it wilt and heat in its own juice,
add a few drops of Balsamic vinegar for Italian taste,
have another beer
and I mix it in
some pasta- I like rotelle(curly-kind) or rigatoni -
its easier, forgiving to cook (should of had it on before the spinach but oh well- have another beer.
Heat up your favorite spaghetti sauce- I like Barilla's stuff, stir while having another beer.
mix spinach and pasta, add fresh Romano and I like black olives too,
Garlic bread and a bottle of wine - a cheap lambrusco cuz the spinach leaves a 'metallic' taste so do what I do
put the wine on the table and have a beer instead.
Good stuff.
