Moore wrote about Perefrine as the market leader in a category that has, I believe, a reasonable chance of tornadoing

I followed Peregrine when I first followed the front office industry, thinking at the time that Peregrine was part of that category. As I later learned that it wasn't, I still felt it was a terrifically managed company growing rapidly.

If the company hasn't already been in a tornado, it's had the kind of revenue increases while crossing the chasm that get mistaken for a tornado. Revenues for the past three fiscal years are $61.9 million, $138.1 million and $253.3 million, respectively.

Geoffrey mentioned on the mailing list Peregrine Systems as a potential gorilla.

I don't know...I never liked Jeff's who spelled their name Geoffrey.

Always seemed a little foppish to me.

Particularly when my gorillas are DOWN,

Peregrine

Michael, thanx for your comments on Peregrine.
Please see post # 39964.

You're into software. Can we coax you into a brief Hunt Report, or can you amplify on what people are saying about Peregrine?

best,
apollo
