I've been thinking about the capitulation that the market seemed to be waiting for.
I don't think we're going to see it.

I think the difference these days is that a large percentage of the money at work in the markets is tied up in RIA and RRSP funds.


Interesting comments Cush. This is very true and I have many friends who are just willing to ride it out no matter what happens.

However, the monthly inflows into funds which is how most invest, is slowing. As a matter of fact, in the US there were record OUTFLOWS in February. Even if they don't slow, prices are obviously too high for the inflows support the market. So the market just grinds lower. I still think capitulation is gonna happen. But who the hell knows when.

I read this bounce as having a little bit more to go. If it extends past Monday, I will be dumping my puts and going major long.
